CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
SUBMISSION DEADLINE - JANUARY 23, 2026
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Oregon Conservation Education and Assistance Network (OCEAN) announces an open call for abstract submissions for the upcoming CONNECT+ 2026 conference.
Spanning three invigorating days, this immersive conference aims to unite decision-makers at the local, state, and federal levels with professionals from Conservation Districts and other dedicated conservationists. Our collective goal? To fortify the conservation of our precious natural resources. CONNECT+ 2026 Is not just a conference - it's a platform designed to propel Oregon's soil and water conservation efforts forward.
We welcome submissions from all areas. However, we're particularly interested in abstracts that align with our mission and demonstrate how your work contributes to conservation, in line with these guidelines.
-
Each Track may have up to eight (8) presentations.
-
Each presentation should be no more than 50 minutes, which includes Q&A.
Formal presentations on various conservation topics will be scheduled in concurrent sessions, depending on the specific “Track” in which they were submitted and their thematic content.
The abstract submission form requires you to select a preferred presentation format (oral or panel discussion) and indicate whether you are submitting your abstract as an individual or as part of an organized group.
The review committee may recommend changes to your proposed format based on novelty, relationship to the theme, available time in the program, and whether the content has been previously presented.
All accepted presenters must be registered participants.
Don't miss this opportunity to share your insights, innovations, and ideas.
Submit your abstracts for your presentation by January 23, 2026.
